Cit Diversity Scholars Program for
Juniors
Program Description and Structure:
The Institutional Clients Group Diversity Scholars Program was
developed to attract high caliber minority and female talent to
Citi. Individuals will be selected for the program on a
competitive basis. Our selection process is rigorous, and we
look for a number of the same qualities in our scholars that we
consider essential for a successful career in Citi’s Institutional
Clients Group. We look for a combination of academic and
leadership excellence coupled with experiences and personal
qualities that indicate an individual’s potential to thoroughly
benefit from the program and excel in the field of financial
services.
The program’s structure and eligibility criteria are as
follows:
- Recipients will be granted a paid 10-week summer
internship opportunity during the summer before their senior year
within a business in the Institutional Clients Group
division.
- Group placement is based on business needs as
well as personal interest.
- Recipients are eligible to receive a one-time
taxable award of up to $10,000. Award amounts will be
based on: successful completion of the internship, performance and
impact, attitude, work ethic and summer performance reviews
- Recipients are also eligible to receive and will
be considered for an additional one-time taxable award of up to
$5,000 based on overall summer performance and contingent upon
receiving and accepting an offer of employment at the end of the
summer to join one of our full time Analyst programs
- Awards will be paid directly to each recipient
at the end of the internship. The award will be considered
income and is generally subject to federal, state and local income
taxes.
