Human Resources Associate
Being a Human Resource Associate at
Citi
The Human Resources Associate Program is
designed to provide Associates with the opportunity to spend one
year in a Specialist role and one year in a Generalist Role.
Placements are determined by the Analyst’s development profile and
the Business need.
Initial Training
All Human Resource
Associates participate in a one week comprehensive training
program. The comprehensive training program is taught by skilled
internal HR professionals along with selected professionals with
industry and product expertise. The program is designed to cover
the fundamental aspects of the Human Resources. In addition
to the week-long training program, Associates will be included in
ongoing development and networking sessions, including monthly HR
Senior Speaker Series and recommended trainings leveraging Citi's
HR Professional Development Framework.
What You’ll Learn
The mission of the Program
is to provide Associates with a unique introduction to Human
Resources by introducing them to the various HR functions and Citi
Businesses. Through our global network of Associates, Management
Associates and Alumni, Associates will have support, advice and
guidance to be successful in the Program. We’ll prove our
commitment to your constant personal development at every level.
You’ll be assigned a mentor and ongoing self-driven development is
encouraged.

Human Resources Summer Associate
The
Summer Internship Program is a 10 week program and begins with a
1-2 day training program, providing Summer Associates with a
technology training session, an overview of Citi and our Human
Resources Organization.
After Orientation
After the orientation, you
will work with your pre-assigned team within one of the Human
Resources businesses; Health and Benefits, Employee Relations,
Learning and Development, Talent & Performance Management,
Diversity Management, Staffing & Recruitment, HR Systems &
Technology. The type of position and deliverable vary for
each Summer Associate according to placement and business need. Top
performing Summer Associate will be considered for the full time
Human Resource Associate Program. The Summer Program will provide
Associates with Mentors, networking opportunities, and Senior
Speaker Events where Citi’s senior management will host discussions
and answer questions.
