Being an ICG Operations Analyst at
Citi
Analysts are crucial to our success. We
believe that the best way to develop talent is to hire the very
best people into entry level roles, provide appropriate training
and development, and then support their advancement into
increasingly larger roles so that over time, they will fill our
senior management positions.
To succeed, Operations Analysts should not only perform their jobs

Initial Training
Our training program is covers a range of capital markets products
and services, professional development skills, and team-based
projects and case studies. The training is a mix of
classroom, speaker series lectures, on-line tutorials, and hands-on
experience.
Additional training and development will be available as you
continue your career, with greater emphasis on management
development and leadership skills.
We also offer a variety of networking, mentoring, and community
service events for you to participate in.
What You’ll Learn as an Analyst at Citi
You will begin your career in an entry level position, so that you
will develop a fundamental understanding of the business of
Operations. You should expect to move into a new role within
12-18 months, based on your demonstrated performance. Over
time, you will be given increasing levels of responsibility, as it
is our intention to grow our future leaders from our entry level
talent pool.
Who We’re Looking For
We will consider all
academic backgrounds and majors, as we are most interested in
individuals with a demonstrated record of achievement (acadamic and
otherwise), as well those with a strong work ethic, high energy
level, strong analytical and communication skills, and a ability to
drive change.
Summer Analyst
This is your opportunity to gain ten weeks of
solid experience and to better understand the career opportunities
within ICG Operations. As a Summer Analyst, you will get the
chance to contribute as a member of the team to which you are
assigned and have responsibilities similar to a first year
Analyst.
The training is a mix of speaker series
lectures, projects, on-line tutorials, and hands-on
experience. In addition, we offer a variety of networking,
mentoring, and community service events for you to participate
in.
We utilize the Summer Analyst Program as a
primary source for hiring full-time Analysts, and strongly
encourage all those interested in full-time roles to apply for
