What about your career excites you the most—gets you out of bed in the morning
The fact that every day is different from the last.  You never know what to expect in this job.

What do you consider Citi’s competitive edge?
Our broad platform and strength across products, industries and geographies helps us effectively compete in the marketplace.

What other groups do you liaise with regularly within the firm?
I interact almost daily with our Leveraged Finance team, including the syndicate desk.   Their teams work with us on live projects, and help us to secure new business.  I also spend time with Equity Capital Markets and M&A, depending on the project.

How do you apply your degree to what you’re doing now?
The finance classes have proven useful to me every day, but I also utilize the networking and management skills in my daily interactions.

What non-work related activities do you get involved in through Citi?
I devote a lot of time to our recruiting efforts.  Hiring the right people at all levels/positions is the only way to ensure that we continue to provide great service to our clients.

Describe your experience in your specific training program.
My training program helped me build a foundation here at Citi.  It consisted of a mix of accounting and finance concepts, along with introductions to other businesses within the organization.  There were also several social events that provided great opportunities to meet with my new colleagues.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
Outside work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and try to play as much golf as possible.
